3:40 why are their eyes going so wide at the "waste of 40 quid" chant? I'm British and *I* don't even get what they're so scandalised by- I thought the chant just meant "spent £40 on tickets and the game was rubbish- what a waste" but obviously there's either something I'm not getting that makes it much worse than I realise or there's something *they* don't understand that makes the chant seem much deeper than it is?

He's offensive for the sake of being offensive. I've seen him before. I forget his name because there's literally no point in me remembering it. I get the joke. And that he's doing it for shock value to get attention. Or possibly even because he's just a bully and never got enough attention as a kid. Who knows. He's just one of those people who's "comedy" which I'm very loosely using that word. Because constantly insulting everyone with no actual punchline or end game result. Is just not comedy. Sasha Barren Coen and George Carlin and Jeff Ross and Don Rickles do/did the same thing. Except you could tell the sarcasm. And most of them would frequently make sure that everyone and the subject being insulted knew it was a joke. They might then jab another insult after that. But you knew it was a joke. And they would always leave the stage or talk show or whatever on a good note and saying what they actually mean or at least pretended to be grateful to be heard and seen. Not this guy. I've seen him over decades at this point. And I listened every time until the last few years. He's not actually joking. He's just an a$$. Even if he wasn't insulting Americans. He's still not funny. And never was. I know British comedy. It can be very subtle. And obtuse. And odd and just flat out weird to us. And I've seen a lot of it. And it has its moments. And it's a very different style of comedy. That's not what this guy is doing. There's about 2-3 comedians from the United Kingdom that are insult comics like this. But even they go by at least some of the standard of you hearing it's sarcasm or make sure you know it's not just flat out hatred and insults. And British humor and sarcasm can be hard to detect sometimes. But not in this case. A few people laugh as you heard. Most of them out of just being uncomfortable. If you notice there's no act being done. No set. No real jokes. Even by insult comic standards. This guy means every single word he says. Is actually as hateful as he appears to be. And actually hates us and basically everything and everyone. There's nothing funny or endearing about that. It's just pathetic and sad. You know he was lying about us except for the friendly fire military thing and that we talk a lot. And I guarantee the reason why he says we're rude. And why he was so miserable here. Was because he was to the Americans he was talking to. He's not a nice person. And is being welcoming and talking to him like a person he finds rude because he hates people. Period. Doesn't matter where he was in the country. He would've made any of us miserable just being around his toxic personality. I'm sure he was rude to every single person he met. Looked sour. His tone of voice was sour. He's genuinely and actually a hateful bastard. Feel free to look up any interviews he's ever done that are more serious than a comedy talk show. He's exactly the same. Because that's who he truly is. There's no actual joke. The guy is just a hateful miserable douche. Some might say that that's the joke. And no it isn't. You can tell when it is. Even if it's people pulling pranks like Sasha Coen or the guys from Jackass or even some dumb UA-camrs that play it straight and never break character. He's no Andy Kaufman and just "misunderstood". You're seeing EXACTLY what he's like. There's no joke to it. I can guarantee you wouldn't be laughing even if it wasn't aimed at Americans. There's no joke and he's not funny. He's just a miserable bastard who like insulting and bullying people and that's all it is. Why anyone has bothered to let him in media I have no idea. And other than being able to insult and be toxic to everyone en mass and offend as many people as possible to make himself feel better I have no idea why he decided to go into media. He's literally poison every time he speaks. But you're not missing anything. You're not confused. Or not understanding British humor properly. Or not understanding the subtlety of the British sense of humor. You didn't miss anything. The guy is just an a$$. And that's literally all there is to it. Personally I would suggest never bothering listening to him ever again. I did a handful of times. And it was literally a waste of time. Thinking like you. That maybe I was missing something or didn't understand some far dark corner of British humor. I wasn't. The guy is just a toxic ahole. I'd suggest you just pass him up. And even if he's with actual funny people and comedians. Because he literally is not. I'd still pass it up because he'll ruin your enjoyment of the actual funny people. Look up a few British shock comics. You'll see what I mean and see the difference. The others are actually funny. Even if they're insulting you. And you can see the tone difference. It won't make you feel poisoned after your done hearing them. Not this Mfer. I'd steer VERY far clear of anything he has to do with. He's Simon Cowell or Gordon Ramsay. Except not entertaining to even see loose his temper. He's just unpleasant and toxic. No thanks 🤚

Since you’re open to checking out the 1970’s tv I suggest you check out M.A.S.H. 4077 it’s a tv show based on a movie on the Vietnam war as a comedy.

In real life Caroll O’conor was an activist, he was so convincing as a bigot he had to make public service announcements saying it was one thing to play a bigot but another to be one in real life. All in the family was on in the late 70’s early 80’s it was one of the first shows to call out racism in your face.

He studied History at l ox, bridge.. He is a really really intelligent man. You can see it in this segment, he is so quick because he knows what he is talking about. He is a proper smart guy playing a character 😘💕❤️❤️👿😳 15:58

Simpsons actual has heart vs family guy is just jokes. And this movie isn't even an emotional episode. They have some really great stories they tell. My personal favorite is Homer talking about when Marge is pregnant with Maggie to his kids. They are barely getting by and another kid would be too much. It revolves around Homer having to sacrifice his dreams and seemingly depressed the whole episode. But at end of episode he goes to work at his job he hates still seemingly depressed. But has a big reveal as he has a smile on his face as he has pictures of his kids and that is what motivates him to keep working hard for his kids.

They have Lenny calling about the free donuts and them going fast to give Homer a reason to dump the pig silo instead of him deciding he doesn't want to wait in line, as for why he didn't go get the donuts then drop off the pig silo, some pointed out the possibility of him still dumping it but it being accidentally(like he bends down to pick up a dropped donut, he makes a sharp turn then the silo falls off the car, down the hill and into the lake) it works better if he does it deliberately cos then we don't got no reason to side with him.
